A TRADITION THAT CONTINUES

The “Il Piastrino” farm is located in Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo, the greatest genius of humanity. Vinci’s countryside is intact and the same that Leonardo saw and represented in his famous paintings.

The Il Piastrino farm was born in 1990 from the merger of two local agricultural realities owned by 2 families whose origins date back to centuries ago. The Cavazzini family and the Micheli family historically have made cultivation and agriculture their main activities.

The production of wine and extra virgin olive oil has been carried out from generation to generation with traditional methods until Luigi and Daniela, the current owners.

A TOAST ON THE HILLS OF LEONARDO DA VINCI

At the “Il Piastrino” farm it is possible, immersed in an idyllic landscape, to taste typical local products such as wines, EVO oil, grappas, Vin Santo, fruit jams.

We offer various types of tastings with matching foods that can be adapted and modified according to the tastes and preferences of customers.

The tastings are done at the table, with complete equipment, and you can choose whether to do them indoors or outdoors by the pool depending on the time of year.

THE PERFECT LOCATION FOR YOUR EVENTS

At our facility we are able to organize various types of events. Inside our rooms we can welcome both guests of the farmhouse and external groups. The offer includes different types of tastings of various price ranges; which can be carried out according to the period and climate, both in the garden, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the village of Vinci, and inside.
